MMX --> MMXI...

Seven things from the end of 2010...

1. I found the most amazing ceramic travel mugs ever.

2. When you ask God about leaving somewhere and going somewhere else and the Scripture in your devotional reading that immediately follows the prayer  is Jeremiah 42, you stay put.

3. For the first time ever, the baby girl is ringing in the new year without Mom and Dad in the same room.  Sigh... She is an amazing young lady, and we are so proud of her.

4. Our boys, for all their playing and silliness, are noble young men.

5.  Twenty-three years go by fast, and it's hard to remember life before.

6. Extended family is a huge blessing.

7. Bloggy, Facebook, and Twitter friends make life so much fun!

Have a great 2011!  Much love and many blessings to all!

Re:1. Yep, I'm loving my two (got the one like the one on the far left of your pic but with purple/green, as well as the orange one in the middle)

Re:2. Just read it again. Just got chills for you again. Ain't it good when God speaks clearly? (Or, I suppose, when we listen rightly?)

Re:5. It's hard for me to remember life before 23 years ago too. ;)

2. ugh. But, WOW!...then ugh again.

1. Ceramic travel mugs from World Market at TTC. They also have packs of extra lids. Coffee from ceramic mugs tastes better. And you can stick the mug back into the microwave and reheat the coffee. Glorious.

2. Just knowing for certain totally changes my heart. There's a lot of joy in obedience, even when circumstances are the same. Then it all becomes an adventure, waiting for Him to put all the pieces together.

5. Shannon was born a week and a day after I graduated from high school. And yet, she's so much more mature than I am. Go figure! ;)
