Confession...

I love, love, love collard greens and black-eyes peas for New Year's dinner, but I have actually cooked them only once.  I burned the collard greens so badly we had to throw away the pot.  And you think collard greens smell funky cooking; you ought to smell them when they're burning.

I love my mom for making New Year's dinner each year!
